Cinderella Man
So many thoughts, such little words,
Who knew I had this much love to give to a girl?
Trying to do right by giving her some space,
But I feel like I’ve been left in the dark without a trace.
I miss her more and more as the day goes by,
Thinking how I never wanted to leave after our last goodbye.
I thought id be okay with everything going on,
But off goes my mind, keeping me away from having fun.
I need to take advantage of my last summer vacation,
But with her not here, I cant seem to breathe, suffocation.
Suffocated by my own words and feelings,
Building up til I explode into tiny pieces.
I know everything happens for a reason and God has a plan,
I just pray I’ll be her forever, her Cinderella man.
