Scar Unbroken
Look me in my eyes, and you will see the ocean.
Look me in my smile, and you will see happiness.
Look me in my heart, and you will see love.
But if you look beyond, what the eyes can see,
you will see... the real me.
You will see the long lasting pain
that I will forever carry.
You will see a young lady,
who has a hard time believing.
Believing others words, believing in herself,
believing in true happiness.
You will see the scars that are hiding inside me.
Because I’ve been abused and mistreated,
used and mislead.
Because my innocence was taken away,
so someone’s actions could have satisfaction.
