You had me fooled, I must Admit.
You controlled me and caused me pain,
Nobody seen. You hid me from the world, so
your true colors wouldn’t come through.
Bruises and scratches all over me, you pushed
and shoved me in front of our son.
When you weren’t around I played the quiet game.
Couldn’t talk to nobody in fear of being in pain.
Couldn’t have no emotion, had to suck it up and take
what came.
Question is how does it feel not to have won this game?
Bet you feel defeat, worn out, and in shame. You hurt
your own flesh and blood, doing that what did you gain?
You crushed my hopes in having a family. With you out
of the picture me and my son are finally happy. No more
depression, no more stress. Crazy how God puts you through
so difficult tests. Almost 9 months without you and its so great.
Don’t try and play daddy now its way to late. I’m not the one who
deceived you, you did that to me.
Finally able to say, that I’m completely and utterly free.
