Balance

Seasons are more than the sun’s position
Around the planet; evoking subconscious feelings
Of love as well as loneliness.
Summer lies on a bed of sand with the vision
Of Fall floating on colored leaves outside of a mother’s kitchen.
Winter is the cool giver of natural healings,
Like an ice bath for Earth, spreading snow on ceilings,
But patient enough for the signal of transition.
Parents, friends, fans, and enemies cheer in the bleachers
Flowers bloom in almost every direction
Emitting aromas as special features.
Not a flaw in sight, no need for correction
Such a refreshment for happy seekers,
Although Spring is not my favorite, it is a wise selection.
