Our world spins
Like a cricket ball

And we form teams and tribes
That bowl and bat
play and battle,
compete and fight
Against each other
As us... and them
love makes way for hatred
Hostilities grow
as our world spins faster
until
a tragic ball strike
stops our cricket world spinning
bringing loss and sadness
and we abandon play...
Through this break in play
We become united
