You know who you are, I love you so much!! Your my best friend, my lover, and my solemate. God gave you to me and I thank him every day for it!!
What if he wasn’t here?
What if I couldn’t see him everyday?
My heart would break, my body weak, my smile gone,
and my life would be incomplete.
What if he wasn’t here,
to see our kids grow, date, graduate,
go to college, fall in love,
have babies of their own.
What if he wasn’t here?
My heart would ache, my body quake,
my sole would die, and
my life would be so incomplete.
What if he wasn’t here,
to walk our daughter down the isle,
to hold and kiss our first grandchild,
to open my eyes to every morning.
What if I had to sleep alone?
What if I couldn’t feel his body next to mine?
What if I couldn’t hear his voice or
feel him underneath me.
What if I had to say goodbye?
What if he wasn’t here?
My heart would split in two,
my body would be lost,
my laugh missing, and
my life would be so so incomplete.
What if he wasn’t here,
and I couldn’t kiss him or tell him
I love you one more time.
What if he wasn’t here,
and I had to find love all over again?
Could anyone love me like him? Could anyone
ever see me the way he does?
What if he wasn’t here?
My heart would cry, my body weep,
