Empires Fall
All is thought;
Devil’s doorway,
Bright black glass.
“Use your words”
Said mother,
Many children
Choose to lie.
Through shadow does one find the light;
Now the truth shines in plain sight
For those who see beyond the plight
Of living in the land of confusion.
“Break the illusion”
Said the shaman,
A mystic grin in place.
“Watch and wait”
Said the inner voice,
Many contemplate.
