it's not alright

i see love raising fists to protest death
I see poets with endless thoughts
I see veterans come back from war
and a bruise is all he got

but all come at a cost, you’ll see
nothing turns out alright

the love protesting death will end
when death fights back and protests life

those poets go unnoticed and their life goes down the drain
such talent wasted all because they are not made for fame

the veterans didn’t get by completely unscathed
their mind was darkened when he watched his troopers scalped and women raped

you see, nothing turns out fine and nothing has a happy ending
we can’t go back in time and restart our lives once we know they’re ending
