Sweeter than a rose

Clearer than the sky

My mind, our soul begins to shine

Darkened by the words

Opened by the light,

Negativity has no place here

Only acceptance within my mind

I cannot change this soul

I can only change ‘I’

The way ‘I’ think of the world through these darkened eyes,

No longer need I climb

Instead I will see

Each and every wonder

That the universe presents to me ..

dark or cold, young or old

i accept you, even if you do not..,

that’s okay, because all i can see

is the beauty in you

and what dwells beneath..
