Coping for you
As raindrops fall on my head, and I walk holding you so close,
I wonder if I can shield you from the melting rain.
I feel your pain as I walk to the place,
where you have nothing to gain.
The place that we go to, is so far away,
but it is so worth the trip to keep you beside me,
for just one more day
As you melt down to nothing and fear the long walk,

just trying to find you a small place to hide.
