To my mom on mothers day 2014
Each year as I reflect on the importance of this day
I find myself searching for the words I should say
Yet I feel that I could never convey
All that I would want to portray
I know in my heart that you’ll always be there
To show me your love
And tell me you care
Though the days are gone of your kiss good night
I still feel your love holding me tight
On this day of two thousand fourteen
I thank you
