Demons
I feel them,
They’re all around,
Invading the very air that I breath,
Trying to destroy me,
Trying to kill me,
I see them in the night,
Lingering at my feet as I wake in the midnight hours,
Watching me as I sleep,
Pondering on what moves to take next,
Hovering over my body,
Breathing me in,
Trying to take me with them,
Surrounding me,
Stabbing me,
Hitting me,
Strangling me,
Screaming darkness into my ears
Trying to over come me,
I see them all around,
These demons are pure evil trying to take me,
Trying to take over me,
But they never will,
I’ll never let them have me,
They can hit,
They can scream,
But I’ll never leave and go with them,
They will not destroy me this time.
