The Darkest Hour
(To all who persevere)
Its been said that it’s darkest before dawn
The hours when men and women start their day
The hours when fish scatter the pond
The hours when no child wants to go out and play
It’s the same time when the demons find weak souls
Souls that have been fighting hard but were unable to continue
Evil comes to show them a bill, and it breaks their entire will
They devour one soul then it’s on to the next venue
When you’re not going to reach your breakthrough
When you can smell success cooking around the corner
Thats when the Devil turns up the level of torment on you
But that’s when you stand up strong and restore order
Keep grindin til the wheels fall off
The Devils gonna be grindin til his wills all gone
Trials and tribulations will definitely come
And if you don’t then know that you’re doing something wrong
Go through crap that the Devil throws at you because like Job at the end he’ll give you all the power
Just keep on keepin on with your head up and persevere through the darkest hour
