There won´t be enough agains to keep me satisfied

LLL

I persist, unyielding, in my quest,
For the ambrosia on your lips, the ultimate zest.
Though weariness may approach, I admit no defeat,
It’s a notion I’ve yet to let myself meet.

Stumbles might mark my earnest stride,
Knees may graze, shades of blue implied.
A fractured limb or a trace bloodstained,
Still, your smile’s allure is unchained.

Once more, I’ll withhold no refrain,
Tomorrow’s sunrise, I’ll bear the same strain.
Infinite “agains,” I readily confess,
Sanity’s grip, I willingly acquiesce.

The honeyed elixir your lips create,
Warmth in your gaze, a fervent state.
A sweet smile lingering in my view,
Your love’s gentle gift, afresh and anew.

So, I venture onward, an unwavering pyre,
Drawn by the heat, desire’s own choir.
Within your loving grasp, I endeavor to thrive,
For the sweetness that keeps my hope alive.
