I Talk with The Oceans
conversing with the Earth
Yes.
And the rivers.
The wind and the rain.
The wildflowers.
The marshes
and saltgrasses.
With the woods and clouds,
hills, and hidden glades.
With the moon, half or full.
The treetops and bluely
distant mountaintops.
Sand dunes. Sunsets.
Early frosts. Morning mists.
Talk with them, all.
Sometimes sing
to them; with them;
in poems
on the page ~
for them.
