Ripples in a Pond

Deep is the water

Deep and dark

So murky and still

No scar, no mark

Soft and gentle

The surface to touch

Reflection looks back

Forced to watch

The sound so pure

Gnaws at the ears

Driven mad

Haunted by fears

The surface disturbed

Wavelets running away

Even they realize

It’s too dangerous to stay

Humans and water

All the same

Outside we can see

Inside filled with shame

Yes the surface we see

But deeper and beyond

We are just like water

Silence shouts its dissaproval Of this sudden forced removal A part of me torn In silence I’m left to mourn Love clouded my judgement
