A question asked by everyone.
The answer, wanted by no one.
Why ask?
Why inquire?
My well being is none of your concern.
Not because I am a recluse,
But simply because you do not care.
“I am sorry.”
Meaningless words.
A statement uttered by everyone.
The real thought behind it, said by no one.
I always wonder...
What is the point?
What makes one say this when they mean the complete opposite?
“I love you.”
More meaningless words.
An idiom coined by the bleeding heart.
A phrase on the tip of the tongue of everyone.
A lie admitted by no one.
Why lie?
Fib and swear on your heart,
Forsake and doom others?
...
Everyone believes.
Everyone is misguided...
Taken for a ride.
Hunted,
Captured,
Held down,
Tortured like savages.
For what?
So the world can keep spinning.
So everyone can live in ignorant bliss.
Everyone is a fool.
Dumbfounded.
Played.
Broken...
By the meaningless words.
