Mortal Man
I know im just a mortal man
A man of many plights
Most I cannot escape
For i have neither the will or the might
There is a cloud over my head
One thats dark as night
I cannot shake the feeling
That there is nothing going right
There is no end to my pain
No silver lining in sight
And as the days wind down
My spirit yearns for flight
For now my end is near
And for once i feel no fright
As the darkness engufles me
I know that i’ll be alright
