The nude natural color
Of the hibiscus leaf
Reminds me of  the tone
In a dress she wore.
Like the flower she was
Amazing and beautiful.
Full of life,
Absorbing every drop
Of the suns ray.
A slow promenade
To the cicadas soft singing
The joys of existence.
I have learned to appreciate
The leaves when I get the chance
Knowing that tomorrow
They will have departed.
Thriving for just one glorious day.
