THE WORDS OF A WOMAN ©
The Words of a women comes from the depths of her soul, as she speaks to her man asking him, “please don’t go”, he hears her, although he really doesn’t listen, absorbing all the words but not realizing what he’s missing. He says, “honey I got this and every thing is going to be alright, I know you get lonely when I be out all night, I’m working on our future, I’m getting things all together, my only plan is for us to do more better”.
She stares at him with her sad and and passionate eyes, as the cuticle waters swell up and she begins to cry, she thinks to her self as she looks deep in to his soul, praying inside that God convince him not to go, feeling overwhelmed with an emotion o so deep, clinging on to him as she weep and begin to speak, “baby I know you got us and this I cant deny, but I also cant restrain from wondering the reasons why, please listen to me because my heart is getting weak, when your gone at all times of night I cant rest or barley sleep, I need to be by your side because I see what you need to defeat, I’m more than your friend, your lover and your wife, I’m more than a women that stays home when you leave for all times of the night, I’m your grace, your blessing and I’m your secret weapon, I hate when you walk out the door and keep it steppin.
He looks at her with a little frustration but also sympathize, because he cant help but see the sincerity in her eyes, wanting to stay in every way, but he knows what he needs to do, deep down in his heart and mind he knows what she’s saying is true, he removes her arms and turns away and begin heading for the door, as he turns the knob and look back at her saying, ”honey I don’t want to discuss this anymore". He has a night on the town and has to make his rounds and she don’t know he’s deep in the street, his mind is gone but he keeps moving on to a meeting that’s waiting for him, he’s striking a deal with a man that’s for real and believe this one would be the last.
He doesn’t know that the FEDS gonna show and this night it would be his ass. The lights come on and his friends are all gone while he thinks to his self in a cell, saying, “damn this is just not right, I was stupid, I was blind and I should have listened to my wife last night”. Now she is done but her love wont let her run and she stays right by his side, because she’s a women a really good women, made to be down to ride, but deep inside it’s hard to hide the fact she had never been heard, and every time she looks at him now she says, “damn, you should have listened to my words”..
