Accidental discovery

The discovery of new thing leave my mind inane
Knowledge of godly truths, I am to obtain
As things to not be disturbed, you are picking and poking;
These abominable things must not be woken

New things, like seasons will come and go;
Like the discovery of the ice crystal, buried under tons of unornimented snow;
but things of nature I have not uncovered,
It is societal things I have unfortunately, yet thankfully discovered

I have discovered by accident, a few things to mention
Like a school boy admitting his unlawful discoveries in detention
I have discovered the joys of friendship, but accidentally also betrayal
I have discovered truth, but accidentally found it stale

I have discovered appreciation, but accidentally found discrimination
I have discovered unity, but accidentally found a racist nation
I have discovered happiness and loyalty, although I find it rather frail
I accidentally discovered its value of being for sale

I have discovered the intentions of people to be “good” and “pure”
I accidentally discovered that being pretentious has no soothing cure
I have discovered that to fit in with a vice is essential,
I accidentally discovered that not conforming shows ambitious potential

I have discovered that life gives you recognition that’s oh so fresh
I accidentally discovered that even more recognition, you will receive though death
I have discovered the charming, confident theory of positive emotion
I accidentally discovered the endangered will to pursue this earnest notion

All things I have discovered, intentionally and not;
Are all things in my life cycle plot;
To find things worthy of the ostentatious word of discovering truth
Although, through discovering bliss, I might accidentally find something extravagantly uncouth
