Waiting for 2023

Overly optimistic for the new year.
New love
New hope
New meaning of life..
New year new me they say,
Although the things you went through never change.
I’m moving on, letting go and reaching for the stars.
Joyful noise is all I hear, Sounds of peace moving in.
Out with the old in with the new
No more holding on to what was, grasping onto what will.
New opportunities
New freedom
New ways of life..
May God be with us all. Amen.
