Love Like A Rose
So many things have been left unsaid
They constantly turn around in my head
I know how I feel and I know what you say
But words are empty without actions displayed
I feel like we’re stagnant; not moving at all
I walk on eggshells whenever we talk
I love you completely and that you know
Our love I want to continually grow
But love cannot grow if it’s left on its own
For in love’s garden your skills you must hone
To grow in love you must nurture it each day
Or love, like a rose, will ultimately fade
