Unfillable Void
Constantly buying material things to try and close that never ending void in your life that can only be filled by one thing... commitment... that in itself can’t be bought but some buy a ring to physically show but without the emotional commitment it’s not enough to sew. The void created by so many years of waiting and dealing with everything this life has thrown at you things that life itself wouldn’t deal with if it’s foot was in your shoe. All the doubt and negativity dealt gets tossed there because if it’s not seen it has no substance in the physical realm but ever increasing in size the void with every un-returned I love you and every lie. Commitment is all you ask for something just as free as a smile but yet it’s unattainable because eyes overpower heart and kills conscience and creates deceit which causes the destruction of the most beautiful thing in life... Love... so commitment without love is still not enough to fill the void?
