An angel with broken wings..
This poem is about a broken virgin, who was saving herself for married.
[Couplet One]
She's reminiscing, and embracing a nostalgic feeling.
[Tercet One]
She'd indubitablely do what ever she could to maintain her boyfriend's happiness, but being as greedy and pig-headed as they come, he was never satisfied.
[Couplet Two]
In this couplet the girl is raped by a forceful boyfriend.
[Tercet Two]
She secludes herself from everyone, and disguises her feelings; hidden behind a "wall".
[Quatrain]
She's haunted by the dreadful memories, and slits her wrist to try an escape the pain— irony. She eventually overdoses on pills, some off the streets and some prescribed; anti-depressants, and pain killers -which is not the only thing they kill— pun.
