"Just For A Play"

Like actors I want to get up on stage and be apart of a play just to say I could be somebody else
Let me dress up in some of the finer things and experience life in a different way. Take my girl out to a fancy place so she can discover her exotic taste. Top it all off get her a diamond ring and make this her favorite day, even if it is just for a play.
Put me in a better situation, write me a fairy tale ending, make me the superhero who saves the day, or the homeless guy who finds a way. I’m not asking for all three scenarios only one will me make me grateful, so what do you say? Even if it is just for a play.
