The Sun
I feel like I’ve cried seven thousand tears
I feel like the the storm sears my soul
I feel like the ice has frozen my spirit.
But I feel like there has to be a new Dawn.
A time when the fog clears my tears.
A time when time heals and soothes the heartache.
A time where I look to hope to help me look forward.
I look to the sun, to restore my faith in me and the belief that I can carry on.
I’ve been down but now I’m making my way up.
It’s in these dark times I’m reminded where there is darkness there is light.
I look to the sun, my source of inspiration for my life.
The light that lives within my heart, body and soul.
This is my prayer, my mantra and reassurance for a brighter future.
