Blessed Sardonic Smile

Sometimes when i hear footsteps outside my door.
de crunch of leaf and the sweet whiff of air
I wonder who took dis path today..

To the stranger I must tell
That witch craft is medieval and magic a myth
That the desert and camels are a fancy
And climbing mountain top a dream

The fairy tales of truth and love
Were only a escape from reality
World’s conquered no more
On a magic carpet ride

The starnger, I must say
Was a wierd passer by
He smiled, just a smile
and said, “God bless you my dear.”

And now whenever I hear footsteps,
I fear to look outside my door
That this stranger, the world is
Might give me again, A blessed sardonic smile
