Cocoon

Lies the wilderness
Beyond the trees.
Wheels the vulture
In distant sky.
Here there is peace for you and I.

No biting wind
Through our trees.
Oasis this
Where dreams can dream.

No substance rots
Emotion’s day,
And only we
Will have our way.

Time has perished ;
We will not die ;
But dream for ever,
You and I.
