Relations

I look around and see the life of others.
But me? You see my dear I am not like my fellow brothers.
I am an old soul that drifts through.
Not maybe just me, also maybe you.
But you see, we fall short in the goal of society.
We push and try, and then fill up with anxiety.
Put others first, so they feel granted.
But than shown the down just as if we were recanted.
We have to come to terms of this, and know we are different.
It may not be as bad as you think.
We will sit and wait, for others to come around.
And when that one person does, we will bound.
Because it never gets better than that.
That small strand of happiness.
