Finding Happiness

I find happiness
in travel and forward movement,
even if I don’t know where I’m going.
The sound of the street,
of people walking by,
and living their life.
Music in my ears
as my eyes take in
everything around me.
The waiting
for the next train
and seeing others
wait for theirs,
look for theirs,
lose theirs.
Silence.
I think it is so
because it helps me
feel unimportant,
I am almost completely
removed from the scene,
and in that way,
I can just be.
