Running
I remember the time as a child I remembered you
What I did not know you will always find me even in my darkest hour
You looked down at me from the Heavens as your light shine on me
No matter how far I ran I would stumble and fall into the shadows
As you are waiting for me with your arms are wide open for me
You loved me now as much as you did in my mother’s wound
With your tears flowing over me with your healing cleansing
I would run as far as I could hide and watching over my shoulders
As I run I see two set up footprints my feet sinking in the sand
Brings me to a halt, dead in my tracks as I sink down for mercy
As I humble myself to you God on my knees
