Forever and Always ...
To my little angel Serennah Grant-Russell.
Sleeping isn’t sad because I dream of you,
It’s waking to find none of it’s true.
To know your never there, to touch and to hold,
But always know forever, you’ll live on in my soul.
The love that I have will never grow weak,
I just hate it’s mixed up with pain, and so much grief!
But I’ll never forget the time that we spent,
Those moon-blue eye’s and fresh baby scent.
The little twitch you done with your chin,
When you felt the touch of your mother’s soft skin.
And only once I heard you cry,
So soft and quiet,
Like a sweet lullaby.
I’ll never forget that perfect sound,
Or how you turned my life around.
To say goodbye way too soon,
Breaks my heart,
But I know your star will always shine off the moon!
