Dream

From miles away I could hardly make out a doorway
After a lifetime of sprinting no fatigue displayed
Time and speed manipulated like a dream
It felt like running in water and going up stream
Laboring motions, yet breathing, no concern
Passing all the familiar faces, old feelings returned
Nostalgic heartaches, a desire to return to innocence
Or was that lifetime easier because of ignorance
A flower blossoms in the arm of methane clouds
Brought back some hope I was having some doubts
So when the plane is broken what or whom is to arrive
Do I deny this simulation and believe I’m alive
