Care
You’re broken, defeated by the elements.
A smile is hinted on your face,
you always try to please others, but can never make amends.
Hate takes over when love is replaced.
You step through valleys of havoc and misfortune.
You didn’t intend to, but an untold force drove you to veer.
At this instant your mind tries to distinguish from right and wrong, but you step with caution.
Not knowing that ahead, lies greater trouble bound to mislead you and those held dear.
You’ve never experienced depression of this magnitude.
All hope is lost.
You had faith of endless amplitude,
but now it fritters away with no cost.
You’re about ready to give up.
You face choices that would only lead you to darkness.
Wait................look up!
there, a glimmer of hope, light, you notice shadows fading into brightness.
Suddenly there is a will to go on.
Everything now seems clear.
God casts a light upon you... hope to carry on.
Speechless but strengthened, you move past your troubles once
again this time a fortified inner man and you now realize that hope.....is here.
It may seem as though nobody cares for you.
Perplexed, you ask yourself why you survived if no one cares for you.
Slowly, the light that was casted upon you shines brighter.(hint)
Tears stream down your face as you realize you’re cared for by one full of wonder.
You feel redeemed.
Faith restored.
Pain relieved.
A great sense of humbleness conquers your heart.
You once knew this feeling, the feeling of knowing that even though
the world may bear hatred in your midst,
there is one who always stands by you through the bad and the good.
One who still cares.
