Standing alone at the road side
Gazing away into space
With nothing but a blank mind
All I could do was keep still and become frozen
For my life is going downhill
But the direction I long to be actually lies within
At times, living seems like a waste of time
Though suicide is not in my vocabulary

Standing alone at the road side
Just waiting to see a light shines my way
And dim some of the darkness that surrounds me
How I yearn to be successful on this green earth
And  every time I close my eyes and take a deep breath
I wish all my pain could disappear
But the moment I open up my eyes
I continually stare into vacancy.
