The love of my life
Sitting all alone in my room staring at the wall
Dying for the love of my life to call
Just to hear the sound of his voice
Would make me rejoice
And if I had one choice
I would commit myself to him in every way
For I can’t live without his presence another day
How I yearn for his return
So this pain inside my heart no longer burn
But the love of my life is nowhere to be found
Though, one day he might come around
To bring back excitement
And give me a life of fulfillment
Hugging my pillows every night
Wishing it’s the love of my life in plain sight
Silence lay with me on a firm bed
Sometimes my soul seems extremely dead
Since I can’t feel his body next to mine
Because he was my one and only sunshine.
