Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse

Even in a zombie apocalypse,
the human spirit can be hard to eclipse.
As the undead rise,
the survivors scavenge for supplies.

A crossbow is ace with long to mid-range silence,
dispatching zombies with swift and efficient violence.
A machete is great for use at close range,
unlike guns its quiet for a change.

Collecting ammo as they go,
along with flares that they can throw.
The living can be more of a threat than the undead,
their hostility being a thing to dread.

Barricade the place where you hide,
to stop the zombies getting inside.
A good distraction is a loud sound,
luring zombies so you can sneak around.

Take turns to keep watch as you sleep at night,
you don’t want to wake with a zombie bite.
Be careful of the choices you make,
or you could make a fatal mistake.

First impressions can be decepetive,
use caution if you want to live.
Its good to have a strategy,
decent leadership is the key.
