I sit here and wonder
I sit here and wonder how much longer I will be sitting and wondering.
I think about so many things.
For one, you never leave my mind.
Not even after all this time.
In every guy, there you are, but in you, there is no other guy.
Why can’t I look past you? Or at least look through you?
To simply skip the part of you that kills me...
What we were is something we’ll never be again.
I believe this to be true, but I have yet to be convinced.
I don’t know what it is about you, but you can not be erased.
So instead, to cover up the pain, here I am.
