The Wishing Prayer
Outside I see the bright stars.
Tonight I’m wishing where you are.
Are you some where far away?
Or are you some place where night becomes day?
Boy I wish my thoughts would have a clue.
I really don’t know what to do.
Ever since the day I met you,
I knew you would be the one to steal my heart away.
Myself has never felt this way before.
It’s like walking through heaven’s door’s.
I’m hoping you are not an angel in disguise.
It would not be wise to act synthetic in this matter.
I myself know what I want.
At night you taunt me with your sweet
lullaby in my dreams
Sometimes I wish I wouldn’t wake up so soon,
Just to spend my dreams with you.
I always wanted someone to care for me.
My essence cherish everything you have given to me.
All I requested was for God to send me someone who would treat me right.
