As These Tears Fall
Another Cry Baby Ass Poem. My Feelings Just Be Hurt Sometimes.
Contemplating my next steps as these tears fall.
I’m all for reconciliation, but these tears fall as I set my boundaries.
I don’t wanna go out, and I prefer not to let anybody in.
Not even “friends”
Realizing you and I probably aren’t good for each other, so much excitement
But these tears fall.
I still find it odd that I can be there for everybody, but myself
As these tears fall.
I feel chewed up & spit out, distastefully.
Angry enough to distance myself.
But stupid enough to seek forgiveness.
As these tears fall I take another narcotic.
Sometimes I feel as if the world does work against me.
It’s not in me to be intentionally coldhearted.
What you see with me is what you get
But at the same time I have layers.
I would ask you to come view me through a different lens, but now you’d see too much damage.
As these tears fall I reminisce....
To a much simpler time when no one wanted to hurt me.
I’ve hurt ppl myself, but growth to me is a necessity.
My intentions in anything are always pure.
I reminisce to a time when I... was pure.
As these tears fall.
