Evaporate
In 20 years,
a million mistakes ive made..
And they always hang over me,
like they just wont fade..
And on the sunniest days,
i still see the shade,
from a dark cloud above,
that will never rain..
Its the only rain ive ever wished for,
please come down, o
come down,
and come down some more..
So my mistakes can evaporate,
that way i worry no more..
My mind can be free,
anything else is furthermore..
I never said i could change,
but i wish to forget,
all the bad things ive done,
from past to present..
I really dont want to change,
that i have to admit..
But how can i think about it man,
with all these things in my head..
Im really not a good guy man,
not a good guy at all,
but im not a bad man, man,
you just got to go through it all..
You have to see where ive been,
you have to see what ive done,
you have to go through it man,
to see what im from..
See what im made of,
see how i came up,
and then you will see man,
why my prayer for rain is efficacious.
