In search
In search of you like the sun and the moon; only to be reminded of how distant we remain. I’ve seen you in an instance yet never been in your presence. You are pure perfection with all your faults. I write so that I my convey the truth, and not be dismissed. I am a man that dreams and who has dreamed of better days. I hope that my prayer of courage and strength will be answered. For what man has strength and courage that he will deny himself so that he may get a glance at the essence of life. In a day and through the night surround by images that obscure my vision I long to be with you. I long for you like a lost sailor at sea in search of land and compelled ashore by the distant sirens.
