Dreamer
I know how to appear to sane, I know how to act like I care
I am good at showing patience, you’ll never see the jungle the runs inside me
I never liked reality so I picture my life through a movie screen
I know how to get lost in day dreams but reality rudely interrupts
In my mind and my scenarios everything is possible, that is where I truly exist
In real time I am easily forgotten, never missed
I know that in my world everything is lighter, I shine the brightest
I can be anything I want there’s no doubt, not even the slightest
Reality is cruel and it always wins passing through like a virus
What I don’t know is why fantasies never come true
I’m such a dreamer, its become a curse over the years
But dreaming is the only place I can beat my fears
