Unbeknownst to me I think I’m giving myself a demi– dilemma, causing myself to get involved in a mini-musing. A Choice to make But how annoying the choosing! Juneteenth And father’s day, have Practically become a twin holiday. I wanted to write about 1 or the other. I didn’t want to write 2 poems, If I had my druther’s.

I am going to attempt to not go on a long and lengthy diatribe. But this written work Is going to be more in tune wit my Tribe. Although  Our lesser melanin folk Can hitch a ride... And enjoy! So much mixing of emotions coming to play Thinking about the two  dates. For many of our citizens this is news coming fresh out the gate. And now  Honoring Our Fathers, rather a bit of a mixed  blessing considering the bad rap, and all the other crap That father’s all over the world, Have to swallow With no chaser Of a teaspoon of honey. As I was saying Beloved celebrants and fathers and people every where! What a Creator! He broke the bonds of bondage and set the captive free....  And from dust He blew life And created and framed, His wonderful invention called family. What more could we ask for? Although  we could And often do, But right now at this particular moment, I am content, how about you?
