Leaves a gaping hole

And eats your soul,

Or so it would seem.

All your hopes,

It’ll rip apart

Till it breaks your heart.

Then with its own it elopes.

It doesn’t walk or run,

Just fades away

More and more each day,

But forever weighs a ton.
