The Life I've Made

Decisions Decisions.
Right and Wrong– yes and no.
Enraptured in the danger, reeling in the jeopardy–
Seduced by the uncertainty,
bewildered by the fear.
All senses are alert, waiting for a sign.
This is wrong.
But feels so right.
Hyperawareness, sharp, vigilant,
every muscle on guard, anticipating trouble.
Looking for trouble.
Enjoying trouble.
Making trouble.
I’m in trouble.
It started so easy, so spontaneous, so casual.
It became so ordinary, so boring, so commonplace.
But now it’s so binding, so pressing, so vital.
Urging me, calling me, demanding me, controlling me.
I’ve become your victim, like a trophy or slave,
there is no escape,
I am trapped in your monopolizing grip.
You own me.
I am not my own.
I am yours.
This is wrong.
