and zettabytes of
video, music, text
streaming through wires and air
it is everywhere, information and
entertainment and sports
football cheers and sitcom laughter
machine guns and helicopter whoosh
a million ringtones, thousands
of semitones apart
all compacted tightly together
vibrating in low frequency
with a weighty subatomic load
a gut-rattling mega-splodge
of radiation and
senseless noise.
