Walking through the forests,
lush and inviting, like coming home,
like stepping back through the passage of time.
The smell of the firs and soil,
the feel of the wind, cool and chill,
the sounds of thunder in a cloudless sky.
The path widens,
and the sound hangs deafening in the air,
as its majesty comes into view.
Shimmering water cascades,
its beauty unmatched in nature,
but a secret this would be, if not for you.
