You could spot the summer on his skin

And the winter in his eyes

He was kissed by the sun

And it was clear

His touch brought heat to your body in the dead of winter

And his gaze froze ones heart in the most scorching of deserts

His words left a trail far sweeter than candy

And his lips were even sweeter

He put you at a loss for words

Because his beauty could not be measured in them

He made you scared

But he wasn’t scary

He was everything

And nothing

All at once

And I still spend my days wondering how that could be
